This Guayabera is not a Guayabera, anyone has its history. Made by relatives of the great craftsman of the Yucatan grouper, Merida Mexico Don Antonio Ramírez Ramírez born in the year of 1917 in the City of Motul Yucatan, he started the tailoring trade at the age of 13, when he began his tailoring practices, this trade took him with him to Mexico City, where he made ironically his first Guayabera. Such was the success of the excellent sewing of "El Yuca" as they knew him in that city, that he became the tailor of the colony. Upon his return to the city of Merida, Yucatan, Don Antonio did not have a fit store, so he set about working from home in a small makeshift workshop. Every day, he went out in search of possible clients, walked from hotel to hotel offering his traditional guayaberas and thus managed to make the excursions come to his house to buy him some garment as a souvenir of the visits of tourists to Mérida !. Such was the Commitment, Dedication, Effort and the great love that Don Antonio put in his Guayaberas, that currently, in its third generation, the business continues to be a family business and each year more prosperous! This Yucatecan company employs more than 35 people and the store can be visited in the Colonia Pensiones where they will attend to you in a very special way. Hecha por familiares del gran ArtesanO de sastreria del mero Yucatan, Merida Mexico Don Antonio Ramírez Ramírez nacido en el año de 1917 en la Ciudad de Motul Yucatán, inicia el oficio de sastrería a la edad de 13 años, cuando empezó sus prácticas de sastrería, dicho oficio lo llevó consigo a la Ciudad de México, donde realizó irónicamente su primera Guayabera.Tal fue el éxito de la excelente costura de "El Yuca" como le conocían en dicha ciudad, que se volvió el sastre de la colonia.A su regreso a la Ciudad de Mérida Yucatán, Don Antonio no contaba con una tienda en forma, así que se dedicó a trabajar desde su casa, en un pequeño taller improvisado.Todos los días, salía en busca de posibles clientes, caminaba de hotel en hotel ofreciendo sus tradicionales guayaberas y así logró que las excursiones pasarán por su casa para que le compraran alguna prenda como recuerdo de las visitas de los turistas a Mérida!.Tal fue el Empeño, Dedicación , Esfuerzo y el gran amor que le puso Don Antonio a sus Guayaberas, que actualmente, en su tercera generación, el negocio sigue siendo familiar y cada año más próspero!Esta empresa Yucateca, da trabajo a más de 35 personas y la tienda la pueden visitar en la Colonia Pensiones en donde le atenderán de manera muy especial.
